Why Melaleuca Marketing Executives Should Use Myspace And Facebook
No one really saw it coming, the onslaught of new technology and services from sites like YouTube or MySpace.
Who could have really?
Until the last five years or so, the internet has been nothing more than a random assortment of information, retailers, and questionable content. Honestly, what good could the internet have done for your Melaleuca business besides maybe email access?
Then “Web 2.0″ came along and everything changed.
Today, video interaction and social networks are two of the tools that help define network marketing’s “new school” of thinking but you have to be willing to be creative and step outside the musty old box we all seem to get trapped inside.
I’ve seen the effects that YouTube and video marketing can have on a product and it’s incredible!
Viral video and mass interaction defined the year of 2006, just ask Time Magazine, who named their person of the year “You” in response to the incredible growth seen in the industry.
You may even want to create your own viral video and spread the message for your Melaleuca products.
For example, when a friend of mine wanted to promote a new product she was selling through YouTube, I gave her a few of my own ideas (woefully less clever than hers, but fun nonetheless) and waited to see what she eventually came up with.
The result was a 10 video series of 3-minute sitcom style interactions in which she was able to educate, entertain, and entice new customers, while never once “beating them over the head” with a hard sales pitch.
I know I’ve stressed this before, but integrating video marketing (YouTube) and social networking sites (MySpace and Facebook) into your Melaleuca marketing can dramatically increase your chances for Melaleuca success!
