Melaleuca the wellness companyBelieve it or not, your Melaleuca business won’t build itself. It will take a sincere and disciplined effort of getting new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones in order to build the strong, stable business that you desire.

The bottom line is that as a Melaleuca distributor, you still have to prospect.

I have a friend who’s a realtor and this woman is a mastermind at getting people to contact her for more information via the internet!

Sure, you might be thinking, “Well, she’s a realtor. She’s a professional marketer! She should know how to get people to contact her!”

I want to tell you my friend that we should always have the mindset that we are in control of our businesses and we are professional marketers as well! Now, here’s her prospecting strategy…

1. Website – have you got one of these or can you point to Melaleuca.com?

2. Keeps a blog – regular posts draw clients in generating more Melaleuca leads.

3. Articles – she submits to article directories with a link back to her site.

4. E-books – she wrote a couple of informational E-books about her industry – can you create your own Melaleuca marketing material?

My friend’s approach is to use all of these forms of advertising get people to contact her.

While she’s got them on the phone or through e-mail, she’s determining their level of interest in her business based on how her prospect responds to the questions she asks them. She lets them tell her what their need is.

To her, it would be a complete waste of time to work with someone who didn’t want to be worked with! Shouldn’t that be the same mindset for you and I?
