The FREE report uncovers...

  • A proven and very powerful, (yet never talked-about) prospecting method that will have potential personal enrollees asking you about joining your Melaleuca organization instead of the other way around.
  • The one, simple reason why the Melaleuca products (Renew lotion, Envia shampoo, Nicole Miller cosmetics) will never "sell themselves," despite what your upline is telling you.
  • Why selling to your friends, family, and "warm-market" to accrue product points is NOT a realistic, long-term, explosive business building method.

Melaleuca Complaints: “No EFFECTIVE Sales And Marketing Training!”

Melaleuca ComplaintsThe key to attracting prospects to you is positioning. (One of the biggest Melaleuca complaints from distributors is that they’re not being trained “how” to do this) Your prospects must view you as a leader and expert within your company or industry. But how exactly is this done? As I touched on very briefly in one of my previous posts, it all starts with good Melaleuca marketing.

But before I get into any of that, let me explain to you what isn’t good marketing. Please bear with me, some of these “marketing” methods are pretty pathetic.

Plastering Melaleuca bumper stickers all over your car.

Putting “work from home” or “Melaleuca business opportunity” brochures on every car windshield within a two-mile radius of your house. (We’ve all seen these before)

Wearing t-shirts that ask people to approach you about your business opportunity or a product that you’re selling.

Leaving a trail of Melaleuca business cards wherever you go, public bulletin boards, bathroom stalls, restaurant tables, bookstores, and coffee shops.

And yes, I’ll admit it, I personally used a few of these methods myself. What on earth was I thinking? I didn’t realize that these neanderthal marketing tactics would do nothing more than get me laughed at by my prospects. Talk about amateur hour!

What I’ve learned is this. If you want to be taken seriously, you have to market yourself and your business in a professional manner! This will not only build a huge amount of credibility with your prospects, but will also help draw them to you.

There are a couple things I can think of, right off the top of my head, that will get you started in the right direction.

Number one.

You need a website. Professionals have websites, amateurs don’t. You must establish an online presence to be taken seriously by your prospects, we’re living in the 21st century after all. And I’m not talking about some cookie-cutter Melaleuca web site that was given to you by Melaleuca that has their logos, graphics, and pretty colors everywhere. This doesn’t count.

I’m talking about a personal website that yours. Your domain name, your design, and your content. This will really help you in a number of ways. It establishes credibility with your prospects, because it allows them to “Google” you and find out more information about you. You’re also able to advertise your products and services, as well as display testimonials from already satisfied customers. This again, builds credibility with your potential prospects, and lets them know that you’re the one they should be working with.

There are more benefits, but unfortunately I don’t have time to get into them. Just understand this, building your own website is one of the best things you can do to position yourself as an expert or professional. It also addresses your prospect’s questions such as “is Melaleuca a scam?” or “Is Melaleuca good for me?”

If you don’t know how to build a website, hire someone to do it for you. If you can’t afford it, you’ll have to spend some time learning how to make one yourself.

Number Two

You can write high-quality, informational articles that are jam packed with good content, and submit them for free to article directories online. There isn’t a faster, easier, or cheaper way to position yourself as an expert. But before starting, there are a few tricks you should know.

Your article needs to contain information that is valuable to the reader. (or your prospect) The information should also be relevant to your product, company or industry that you’re involved with. What your article shouldn’t have is a sales pitch! Avoid this like the plague because it will destroy your message! You don’t want to sell the readers, instead you want to educate them.

At the end of your article is a “resource” or “about the author” box. This is where you get the chance to tell your prospects a little bit about yourself (positioning yourself as an expert) and how they can get in touch with you. It’s best to have a direct call-to-action included in this area. Tell them exactly what to do. If you want them to visit your Melaleuca website (which you’ve already set-up, right?) include a link and tell them to click on it!

Article marketing is a great way to not only position yourself as a Melaleuca professional, but it also provides tremendous exposure for your website. When your prospects finish reading your mind-blowing article, they’ll have a knee-jerk reaction to find out more about the author of article, which is of course, you! The credible, established, expert on the subject.
